What The Club Say

Rochdale Air Gun Club is a club for the members (and visitors) run by the members. We are a non-profit making organisation which means that membership fees & other monies are ploughed straight back into the club towards running costs  and improvements.

The club was established in 2009 at our outdoor Buckley Brook Range. It was in April 2014 when we were able to open our additional indoor range facility, which now means that airgun enthusiasts can enjoy shooting all year round.

The club marshals and range staff are all members who invest their time in the club purely through love for the sport & the continued enjoyment for their fellow members. A number of our members have been involved in the club since the very beginning, including some of our younger junior members who are juniors no more and enjoy giving the senior members a run for their money in some of our competitions. Some have also gone on to do well in National competitions.

We welcome any age, gender, ability etc at both our indoor and outdoor ranges. All are welcome. Helpful friendly advice and tuition is always available if you are new to airgun shooting, to assist in starting down the road of a very enjoyable pastime. If you are already a seasoned shooter or coming back to the sport then we can provide you with a comfortable and friendly club atmosphere to allow the continued use of your favourite weapons amongst like-minded people.

Disabled access and facilities are available at our indoor range.

Visitors are always welcome providing they abide by our safety & conduct policy, so come along and take a look as you will always find a friendly atmosphere. We do ask that any Junior members/visitors are accompanied by a parent or guardian during their initial visits. However, accompanying adults do not need to be experienced, as range marshals are on hand for instruction, guidance and support. We ask that ALL members & visitors respect our rules for safety and respect the experience for both themselves and other airgunners. All members/visitors are covered by the clubs own insurance at every club event.
